OK. I know the brief was a full live set but, let’s face it, who’s going to sit down and watch a full two hours of Japanese ska without some sort of softening up? Here’s a single track as a taster. If you like it, there are plenty of full shows on YouTube. Had the sheer joy of seeing TSPO the last time they played these shores. It was at the Jazz Café and I got hit in the head with a trombone. Any gig you can say that about has to be a good one, right? Enjoy...

The sound on this is pretty poor, as is the video tbh, but this was a brilliant set from Nirvana, halfway down the line up of Reading 1991, a month before they released Nevermind and became massive. Blew everyone away and Kurt famously launched himself in to the drum kit.

This was and remains my greatest gig ever!!! There are most of the tracks from this free on YouTube but the whole concert is here but you have to buy or rent. I have the Blu-ray and put it on loud and often.
