The way I see it. We've sold some terrific players. But we also have very good players on our books, so indulging in some alternative reality of what our side would look like if we hadn't made the sales we did, to me disrespects the players we have playing their hearts out for the Albion.

You'd also have to give back the money of course.
Yep.

Here is my list of who I'd like back:

Essentially all of the players we’ve sold to other PL teams I’d happily welcome back. I don’t really care about the manner of their exits. They’d all improve our team now.

Sanchez
White
Cucurella
Bissouma
Caicedo
Mac Allister
Trossard

That has the makings of a top four XI. If you chucked in Dunk, JPVH, Mitoma and JP in there we’d be absolutely laughing.

Yep, if grudges could be put aside, they would certainly be a major part of a team to really get behind.

Would take back the sale of our world-class midfield. Retaining Macca and Moises - oh and investing in Levi Colwill as defence kingpin for the next ten years - would have primed us beautifully for the next level. Including in Europe this season. Oh well, I'm sure the club accountants are happy
The club accountants couldn't give a f*** if we make profits or FFP breaking losses. It's not their money; it's Tony Blooms.

I you want to stick your hand in your pocket to fund the 200m for those players and comit to paying their wages though, we're all for it.

Is it just me or was Ben White nothing special when he played for us that season?
He was decent and fit that position on the right side of a back 3 like a glove. However he certainly wasn't player of the season, as voted for by The Leeds fans. Swapping him out for proper left back in Cucurella would have been a good deal on its own, but getting about 35m in change was fantastic business.

Although not yet sold, just offloaded, Undav. There, I've said it.

14 goals in 22 matches this season would do for me with Pedro injured, Ferguson looking terribly out of sorts and Welbeck needing a lot of chances per goal.

This is a disappointing one, but sadly it looked like Denis was just not settled here. I'd like us to keep him if possible. I'm pleased he has had a good season.

He was excellent.

He slotted in perfectly, rarely- if ever - had a bad game, and he hadn't even played with the first team at all, as he was at Leeds the season beforehand. It was obvious to me at least that he was going to be sold to a big club. £50m was about right.
