TuneIn Radio - the main version is a couple of quid but there is a 'lite' version. No more wondering what the score is when I'm at the mother in law's two hundred miles away. I can listen to BBC Sussex when I want

F&S - Can you listen to Radio Sussex commentaries of Albion league matches, using TuneIn? If so, it's the app of my dreams ...

Radio apps could be fab especially if they operate on 3G.

I tried to listen to seagulls world for the youth fa cup tie at Withdean the other week and it will not recognise the flash player required.

I did struggle to get much out there on 3G and could not get any wi fi from near the press bit. Could be great in the summer at the county ground as you can pick up the press box wi fi.

Moon Phase one that makes your phone howl like a wolf on full moon
As mentioned before the free wi fi air hockey is excellent

Heyway - link up with your friends and find out their location and get a route to them, Handy if at a festival / meeting up in an unknown city/town

I'm considering getting mine jailbroken as my mate has and he has an app that you can get paid apps for absolutely nothing. The only thing is you do lose your warranty with Apple. What are your thoughts ? Would you do this ?

Just like to point out that I was listening to the commentary (from Seagulls World) just last weekend, walking around in London on my far from perfect Nokia.

Over 3G only possibly buffered a couple times.

It continued to work on the bus, whilst shopping in the supermarket and I finished listening over a pint in Balham.

It was the main reason I bought it.

A case of working what I wanted from a phone and selecting the right one, rather than buying one and then deciding what to do with it.

Only recently downloaded it, so I'm not sure if there's some technological scramble that goes on between 3 and 5 on a saturday afternoon. It does pick up BBC Sussex on the paid version no problem[£1.79 I think] - I'll test saturday and get back to you before you pay out for it

Today I downloaded Vouchercloud as recommended in the Daily Mail, it's supposed to be discount vouchers to use in shops. It uses your current location to give you nearby offers, but according to some of the reviews that even though it's free to download, when you go to use some vouchers it wants to charge you for the privilege. Sounds like a good idea in theory but not sure how well it actually works! I have just tried to use it and keep getting database errors :-(

Re 'TuneIn' - just realised the radio streaming is obviously done from the interweb which means that my hope of listening to the matches has been foiled - bugger

As I thought - it was the internet version of BBC Sussex - a case of needing to look before I leapt - please accept my apologies for getting everybody's hope up

The Eastbourne Borough game was quite interesting though ???
