The doom mongers will now enter the asylum!

Whilst we all thought we'd see a slight increase this ISN'T the end of the world as we know it.

Still let the binfest commence

all staged, pull the money out of circulation, create economic doom, and a few get very rich....this is the way it has always been since central banks - anyone that says otherwise has not researched the trends and history.

one big scam.

Not really doom and gloom, if you think it is good, fine. I just predicted this a few weeks ago. Anyway it is becoming clearer by the day this government has royally f***ed it up.

I'll open a book on this thread, at what point does it become centred on sympathy for one poster ?

Brilliant. Perhaps you should apply for the soon to be vacant post as Governor of the Bank of England. The £300k salary should make up for any deficiencies in other areas that limit your success rate with online dating

Especially when you consider the strong economy they took off Labour , also the fact that Europe is so strong at the moment, I agree they have made a terrible mess.

My company is flat out at the moment. However, we've had to venture further afield than normal, Manchester, Leeds, Preston & Newcastle and have been fortunate to secure a number of Crossrail Contracts. As we are in the construction sector, things could be a lot worse. I have noticed a marked increase in major residential development starts in London over the last couple of months, so the developers must be anticipating a buoyant market next year.

The media will have a field day with this news, and all the stupid people in the country will panic and worry.

It's just negative growth. That's all, no one is going to die. As the title of the thread suggests, Carry on as normal please.

Yes because Labour left us in good stead for the future. Cannot believe the Conservatives managed to make such a hash of it all.

From a personal point of view the last couple of years have been nowhere near as bad businesswise as 2009 which was a bastard of a year.

My job is mostly linked to manufacturing, most of which is doing OK (not that you would believe that from the media), happy I'm not too involved with construction which still seems to be on its arse...

No it has been a bit of shock to find out that putting a million people out of work thus taking their spending power and tax revenue out of the economy, whilst placing more strain on public finances due to an increased welfare bill wasnt good for the country. You would have thought that having seen austerity measures fail to work all across Europe, that even a palace fan would be able to realise that they arent working and wont work here, and they probably could.

Just a shame that the public school twats who spent their teens wanting to be a prime minister and chancellor have dug themselves into a hole and are too thick to get themselves out of it.
