A fantastic new 10000 seater stadium, who could resist playing in such an awesome arena, such an ambitious club building such a massive ground - they will be challenging for the premiership with the revenue that produces!

This has got to be the dumbest move any Albion player has made, i could understand a big name in the championship but Colchester who will very probably be league 1 next season, surely money can't be a major factor here ,Hammond has really f***ed up here ,the gamble hasn't paid off let that be a lesson to anymore greedy gits. Not many ex players go on to better things , what a waste

Can't believe its just money. He had backed himself into a corner after saying he wanted a move into the championship, probably isn't very enthusiastic about moving to Colchester, but was petrified of the reaction he would get from the fans if he stayed. After all, he has been getting plenty of stick for some time
