Not being funny, ive always supported the man and thought his treatment was shocking however the general feeling among the players seems to be thank f**k for that so im tempted to lean with them.

It was allegedly his man management skills that were at fault. His ability to coach was never in question, hence the offer of the coaches role. Even with his faults he got us to 7th.

Some Albion fans have unbelievable expectations, 1st the dissing of McGhee and now this.

1st Withdean game of the season, OGH's testimonial and Adams return there are perfectly good reasons without needing to be acrimonious about a manager who exceeded all expectations last year.

Spot on. Plus the weather looks halfway decent and we can all have a laugh at the Legends' pot bellies.

Let's also hope we can get a bit of atmosphere going. We may not have a roof but we can still *sing*.:clap2:

Alright, alright.

The chance to applaud/donate to an Albion legend, and witness other HERO's like Steve Melton back at Withdean for possibly the last time.

Wilkins was f*cked you know it i know it and even Dick knows it.

I used to respect the board.

There only way out of this now is to buy a team so that the Wilkins dismissal doesn't come back to haunt them just before there showcase Falmer.

I don't see how we can say Dean was 'f*cked' when we don't know all the facts. I think it should have been handled better, but it is never an easy task. It was better to sack him in the close season than after the start of the season, a la McGhee.

You'll get over it. Just as those did that thought McGhee was treated unfairly and I seem to remember you were quite pleased with his removal. ;)

Despite finishing 7th last year, I and a lot of fans were never that convinced by Wilkins. If you lost respect for the board because they made this decision, then you won't have much respect for anyone.

Adams is a better manager than Wilkins.
