I see a lot of the LCD have built in freeview tuner. I am not bothered about this, all I want to know is if they come with regular tuner for analogue TV.

Why are you bothered about an analogue tuner, all analogue is being fazed out in 2010
Trust me mate, i have asked far "sillier" questions and with a Blu-ray DVD player on the way, i am sure my questions have not ended, not by a long chalk

Thanks for the info. We are not getting Freeview proper until 2012

but Freesat is coming in the Spring so no need to wait till 2012 - just need a dish fitting and HD then for your tv

I already have freesat on a dish. This tv is for upstairs so if necessary I could always get a sender.

Fit a 4 output LNB on your dish. Then take a cable to the new room. All you need then is a Freesat box or for economy look for a giveaway old Sky box.
Job done.
i have just upgraded from standard sky box to HD+ so have a box and control you can have, though Littlehampton a bit far away maybe

Freesat was launched about a year ago, its not coming in the spring.

There is also the option of an octo lnb which is handy if you already have 2 Sky+ boxes which will take 4 outputs leaving 4 spare.
