If Brighton ever got to the point of paying insane money I'd probably disown them.

That's already happened. Sure, things have gone from insane to even more bat shit crazy insane, but we've paid over £2m for players, and offered several million recently. That is insane, you've just become a bit immune to it.

I really like football, and I don't see why I should give up watching it just because the money thrown around is insane. I like music, should I stop listening to it because of how wealthy singers are? Should I stop watching movies too?

Just enjoy the game for what it is, and pay a fair price to watch.
