Jay Emmanuel-Thomas.
I'm not knocking the thread, or indeed the desire to see a player like CW sign, but just thought that sadly he was a bit unrealistic.
Why would you want a player that cant get in the Liverpool team at the moment
Thought Celtic have agreed to sign him?
I think this really begs the question 'What is realistic for the Albion?' It has been my view for some time now that there is something fundamentally wrong at Falmer otherwise why can we not sign half decent players? Why did Andy Clayton choose Middlesborough, why did Lewis Grabban choose Norwich and why do countless other average targets appear to have gone elsewhere since Gus went. Is the Answer a Berk? If so, we can only hope times have changed and the rot has stopped - but no evidence yet.
I would like to see B Zamora, James McLean and Harry Mcquire.......but what do I know?
I quite liked him when he was with us, but I was in a bit of a minority. He's a very neat and tidy player, probably lacked a bit of physicality at the time but Derby were a bit crap then and he was only 21, so it's a bit hard to judge. Definitely made a bit of a name for himself since then. Would be a good signing for you I reckon.
I'd also like to see Lingard back on loan, would be very happy with these two until the end of the season.
Dom Dwyer (MLS player. Scored for fun last season with Kansas and born in Sussex)
Jesse Lingard was on crutches just out of hospital in August. Has he recovered from this injury?
I always thought it was a shame that we didn't hold onto Craig Conway and may have made a difference between automatic promotion and only the play-offs so i would like us to try to sign him if available
I have seen this before and wanted to clarify the name of this MLS side. Kansas is the name of a US state. Missouri is the name of another US State. The city of Kansas City, Missouri is a US metropolitan city of 500,000 people. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kansas_City,_Missouri
There is a metropolitan area of Kansas City which includes the suburb of Kansas City, Kansas and several other suburbs in both states (Kansas & Missouri) The total metropolitan area population of greater Kansas City (both the Kansas side and the Missouri side) is 2.3 million.
Therefore when you refer to the MLS side Sporting Kansas City as "Kansas" you are only including the smaller portion of greater Kansas City. There is a larger portion of Kansas City on the Missouri side of greater Kansas City. Therefore when you refer to Kansas you refer to the state of Kansas and when you refer to Kansas City you refer to either the whole metropolitan area of Kansas City (both Kansas & Missouri), Kansas City, Kansas or Kansas City, Missouri. Never refer to greater Kansas City as simply "Kansas." That is a huge no-no.
Because when you cross over from KC, Kansas to KC, Missouri like Dorothy in the Wizard of OZ you are not in Kansas anymore. You would be in Kansas City, Missouri.
Dominic James Dwyer (born 30 July 1990) is an English footballer who plays for Sporting Kansas City of Major League Soccer. (NOT KANSAS)
FYI, Walt Disney spent time growing up in Kansas City. He was never from Kansas but always from Missouri.
