The same publication has said that they’re considering extending Anceloti’s contract.

Nagelsmann and Alonso are also being linked.

Also doesn’t strike me as RDZ being ready for that move yet. One of the big Italians ones mind…

Oh well, it was fun while it lasted but he does seem to be going a bit Poyet recently, so I wouldn’t be even a little surprised.

Is it worth him even seeing the season out if he’s up for this and it’s true?

Hopefully this is not until the end of the season. I would prefer he took a job abroad as it would be less hurtful then seeing him go to another prem club. I would not be begrudge him a move like this, and trust TB to get someone in who I have never heard off, who turns out t be brilliant.

When he arrived an article was shared where he - or an associate of him - said something about having a two year life at any club because he's so intense in his methods either he breaks people or annoys people or both. I'm paraphrasing a bit but that was the gist of it. I wouldn't be surprised if he went next summer, nor if the club and he are already talking about it being an orderly transition.

I almost forgot: FFS

Are they reliable? Not the most surprising thing in the world if true. Club will prepare and Real Madrid are the biggest and best club in the world so can't blame him
Over 2 million followers...looks like there has been contact at the very least.

Ah man.

This is probably the truth (though I'd leave Nagelsmann's name out now he's at the DFB).

Xabi Alonso should be the next Real Madrid manager. If not, it will be Raul until Xabi Alonso is ready. That may be in the summer if Don Carlo decides he's off to Brazil, it may be in 2026 if he decides to sign a new contract.

So before anyone here leaps off a bridge it's worth confirming that at the moment there isn't a vacancy at Real Madrid , there's may not even be one in the near future and even if there is there are at least 2, at least as experienced coaches also linked. Both of whom I will guess Real Madrid could get for a lot less money in compensation.

Also worth pointing out that Real Madrid top their Champions League group and are 2 points off the top of La Liga, above Barca. So there is no bad result pressure which is likely to lead to Ancelotti being sacked soon.

My advice? CTFO

Tengo un amigo que es abonado en el Real y considera que son una casa de mierda.

Relax everyone. It'll be Alonso.
