4 draws in last six games - dropped 8 points out of 18 in that time. 1.67 per game in the last six games. Not promotion form - and the pack have been closing the gap gradually across that time. Unbeaten run is pointless (if you see what I mean) if it consists of lots of draws.

But 6 games ago we were top, and clear by 5 points. This morning we were top, and clear by 4 points. Funny old league...

If you have the time, add up the points we were ahead of the next five sides in that time (5 points, 5, 6,6 and 7 respectively - totaling 29 points, an average of 5.9 points ahead. Before start of play today that total was 23, an average of 4.6 points ahead). They have been closing up (and bunching) - and have closed the gap by an average of 1.5 points.

Not sure if that means anything other than we're closer to the pack, and they're all damn close. Those draws have hurt us.

Cannot down load the full season results from the official site but how are we doing as regards the old adage of win at home and draw away to win the league based on 14 games with 4 points every 2 games we are in front but may have played more home games.

You can't pick and choose your results in this division, every game is troublesome... very surprised at our start given last seasons showing. Lets get behind the lads, stats mean nothing at this stage.

Thanks, so even a draw today and Tuesday keeps us ahead of that schedule.
