True, but we've also had some decent ones. To say that Stockdale is 'comfortably one of the best we've ever had' based on handful of good games is a bit of an exaggeration given how many errors he's made earlier in the season.
on the other side of the coin no where near as bad as some posts in here tonight

I may have missed a post earlier but where is Walton, he's dropped from the bench?

I have no idea! CH seems to want to change for change sake.

winning team so let's change 5!
Players not on bench are starting and Stephens not in the squad!

I hope he knows what he is doing but that first half was dire.
Back to the old 65% possession 0 shots on target and lose 1-0 days :(

Not sure wholesale squad changes were the best idea tonight. Should have kept the squad as close to the one that beat Derby as possible, not used JFC (not played for 5 games), Ledesma (debut), Halford (not played for god knows how long).

Was it the cup game against Brentford when he last played???

Brighton's Record With JFC This Season:

W7
D11
L12

18 out of 30 games disagree with the statement "JFC plays we lose"

The 12 games which agree are the smarter ones.

Name me a worse regular Albion player in the past 4 years?
The guy is a waste of space. Will be a league 2 player next year.

All of those that Hawk mentioned above, plus I would say El Abd, Marcos Painter, Navarro, Sparrow....all a lot poorer than JFC. He may not have had his best season but his ability is far superior to those mentioned.

I'm sure Hughton has his reasons for the selection tonight, can't wait to hear them.

He's shrewd enough to get them playing in the second half though.

Come on Brighton, we can do this!!!

Not saying it's the right team but it wasn't a winning team away from home. We've won our last three home games but not won in four away. Something had to change away from home but maybe this was too much!

Apart from PIG how many others have we had in the last 30 years that are good enough for Premier League/International football? And that could have pulled off some of the saves this last month.

The answer is none.

I'm going to bed----bearing in mind I've fallen asleep twice listening to this.
The word dire is not good enough to describe us tonight.
I expect to wake up with a two nil loss at best.

Just seen the goal - as much as Stockdale may have given the ball away the attempted tackle by Dunk was pathetic and he was as much to blame as Stockdale.
Like Dunk and thought he was near faultless in the last game vs Derby but that was awful defending.
Still carry on blaming JFC and Stockdale....

Have trusted Hughton's judgement in the past couple of games but was shocked by the team selection tonight. Hopefully we'll make some early subs, nick a point and move on.

It's good to have the scapegoat back.
