Bournemouth were more than a bit lively for surevery poor by our standards in first half. Better in second but still allowed them way to many opportunities and i nerver felt we were in complete control.
It wasn’t but bearing in mind the opposition and the fact we were at home, today (first half) was definitely worse for me.Newcastle (a) last season wasn’t great.
Anyone got a spare Group 1 racehorse they don’t want anymore. Are you questioning the boss
Said it on the match thread at half time - that was definitely the worst half of football we’ve played under him. So lucky to go in level.
Second half very good and comfortable.
I thought Bournemouth would be better than they were to be honest. Any half decent PL team would have been out of sight at half time. I didn’t think they would be this season as I liked Iraola in Spain, but I now think they are definitely in a relegation battle, they were really poor.
First half was the most we have missed Caicedo and Mac by far. Unfortunately neither starting centre midfielder today has the ability, movement or willingness to receive the ball under intense press as was required today in that first half.
Agree with this. Poor by our high standards. Same as Thurs. Thurs we still should have won and dominated the game - today we got a bit of luck. It’s such fine lines - Luton game we weren’t that good were we but somehow won 4-1First half yes.
Over 90 minutes AEK, West Ham and Everton were worse imho.
Second half today so many quality performances and some good play in spells.

Yep. Very odd.The lack of movement in that first half was totally unacceptable, it's no wonder Bart came unstuck
