He was also a favourite and prolific goal scorer at Mansfield in the mid 1970s but they went and sold him to Sparta Rotterdam.

Less found wanting and more a career threatening hip injury diagnosed while at the Albion. They soon got rid of him.

Only lasted a few more matches.

My memory may be wrong but wasn’t he brought in to spice up a dreadful forward line under Mike Bailey. Did a good job as I remember too

Signed by Mullery just before the Forest game, only lasted a season if I recall, but chipped in with some goals....... memory fading a bit now.

Was at the Bristol City New Years day game , seem to recall that we had 5000 fans , there or is time playing tricks on the memory cells ?

More like 2k from memory. I went with my missus on our 3rd ever date, on the Seagull Special. Managed to cut my finger badly on a soft drink ring pull. Somehow she stuck with me and we're still together almost 40 years, 3 Albion-mad sons and more than 1000 Albion games later. She deserves a medal.
