Do two red cards count as mistakes?

I honestly think White was the least impressive. That said he was still very good and I genuinely think all three of them could and possibly should've been in that squad. Which one of them is not a better player than Mings? or Coady?

Dunk was, and will remain, our best defender.

Webster was brilliant too, and for me, edged out White. The way he carries the ball out of defence is brilliant.

White was superb, but it was tough competition!

Do two red cards count as mistakes?

Given the nature of them, I would say yes. Awful lunge and bad decision. But I meant more in general and just with a gut feel rather than forensic examination.

What’s it called? Cumbernauld
Dunky after a mediocre start to the season really showed his class Webster also very impressive if not for his injury I think he would’ve made the England squad whites been very solid can’t really fault him just very tough competition

I voted dunk Webster white

I would agree - but when it works. He has caused a lot of problems by losing it when striding out - seems to have taken over from Davy on that score.

I think that he has become more and more effective, and that he rarely loses the ball in dangerous positions now. His decision making about when to carry it, and when not to, has improved enormously.

Having Dunk and White to cover if he does make a mistake has also minimised the risk.

Ah yes the way he brings it out of defence, take a heavy touch a inevitably loses the ball, yeah brilliant.

Yeah, that always happens. Obviously.

Webster moving out of defence and linking up with midfield and attack has been great to watch, and he is getting better and better at it.

To be fair, White is doing it with increasing frequency too.

Dunk,Webster,White.
But White has put in some excellent midfield performances so he isn't just a defender.
In a back three the central defender needs to have the same qualities as a central midfielder.
Ben whites experience and ability to play as a central midfielder could mean that he would actually be better than dunk in the centre of the back three.
So in terms of actual positions played in positions I chose Dunk,Webster,White .
But in terms of "best player" i could say Ben White because he can play in midfield and I think he would be excellent in the middle of the three if given the chance.
That could be why he is in the England squad and the other two are not.
But I don't think it will be long until webster gets a call from Southgate.
