Nope but come on he's only scored in one game out of 5 in the Swiss league this season. Obviously I will give him a chance but I have no expectation with this one.

Obviously...

Oh well if this is the main man we've been waiting on upfront we are getting relegated. Harsh but fair !

I hope he's better than the last one we got from Switzerland. Good luck young man and welcome.

What is the poker equivalent of this particular gamble by Tony? Going all in on a pocket 2 and 7 of different suits?

I'm glad it's not my money

I think some posters would be underwhelmed if we signed Messi and Ronaldo on the same day.

A young player who fits our current transfer policy snd will have been scouted for sometime to ensure he will fit into the squad.

Exciting times

Proven at this level costs 100k+ a week. Dunno what people were expecting. If we were prepared to give contracts like that we'd have gone for Defoe/Hernandez etc.

We just have to hope this is a Knockaert and not a Manu.

I'm confident, he looks promising.

I must say his record in the Swiss Challenge League, is mighty impressive.....He could be the business. Or he could be a pile of shite....Lets hope he is the business and the scouts have got this one right. Massive step up in class for the lad. Needs to hit the ground running as well......Or maybe there's another striker still to come?

Zohore would have been that young exciting striker!

He's scored 5 goals in 6 games this season including 2 league goals on his Swiss super league debut.

watch it here . 2 goals and makes a penalty. (which someone else misses)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFG4TH5uubI

Don't be stingy with the info - let everyone else know 3 of those goals were in one game against some minnows in a cup competition!

This one looks like a punt. It's a lot of money for a punt. I won't be at all surprised if he flops. Hopefully he doesn't.

I'm not sure I understand the excitement based on limited YouTube clips where he scores a few scuffy goals in a poor league.

Wow .

Another coming in or are we going all in on a totally unproven risk .

What a step up for the young man .

Sink or swim time

I'm guessing we have entered panic mode lol
