I think I was surprised we identified a striker and wiling to take the risk. He seems the ideal type. Trepidations that this one will get stopped?

No. Man Utd, Man City & Arsenal off the top of my head have spent more on individual players than we have spent in total.

Edit: a very quick look over the stats on transfermarkt.co.uk suggests we're about 13th.
