To start this new series, lets start with READING FC.

Here are some of my random thoughts. Please feel free to add some more.

Elm Park was absolutely wank.
I never truly forgave Kevin Bremner for scoring for them against us in 1987 up there.
Do Aldershot still consider them rivals?
Do some Brighton fans still absolutely hate them?
It'll be good to be a bigger club than them once again next season.
Alan twunting Pardew. You're a wanker.
Anyone remember when they won 13 on the trot and Trevor Senior scored loads? That was quite impressive, to be fair.

They had that wanker Forster who punched in an equaliser at Withdean live on Sky.

Molango debut goal after 13 seconds. What a find he's going to be. Oh.

Free kick. Quickly taken by Brooker and Zamora. Cheeky. Goal.

Us finishing ahead of them as champions yet South Today still insisted they were the better club

Bandwagoner fans that jump on when they're doing well and jump off when they're not. They always complain, and whenever I visit the 'rents, there is a load of Reading stuff around of my sisters saying "C'mon URZ". WHAT THE f*** IS "URZ" MEANT TO MEAN?
Being bought up in an entire family of them, I know. They are wankers.
I despise them. For personal reasons though.

No, no, no. A real old-fashioned football ground, there was a great atmosphere when we played there. And that broken-down old station just outside (bet that's not still there) used to be the perfect starting place to the day out.

Several posts in and no mention of Robin Friday, one of the few (only) opposition players I'd want to see turn it on. A total genius.

Why did we hate Reading? Why do we hate them? I don't get it.

Thats my random comment.

Cos they nicked Steve Sidwell
And Steve Coppell
And Pardew kept claiming they were the better team when we BEAT them.

A few years beforehand, Bournemouth had a thing with Reading apparently. Mind you, Bournemouth are a no-mark club with no real rivals, so that's no surprise really.

That first game of the season when Molango scored, I pulled some stoat in some Irish theme pub debacle. after texting back and forth (including some filth - most of it from me admittedly!) I met her for a drink after work to watch an England game.

Unfortunately I had a bit too much to drink on the way there and hadnt eaten. Subsequently I never heard from her again and I was too embarrased to get back in touch with her.

On the upside I cant actually remember anything about the 'date' including what I said or did. Every cloud and all that.

Never actually went there myself but agree with your sentiment. A lot of people seem to hate old grounds just because they're, well, old.

I'd rather stand there:
