All we need is a pair of double DDs upfront!

Any ideas?

I'll start with Deeney & Defoe.

We nearly had one, and Gross' middle name is Deirdre, true fact.

Any stats showing if any team has stayed up after getting only 3 points from first 9 games  :lolol:
No team that's lost the first 7 without scoring has ever been relegated.

I have personally never understood how anyone criticises Dale or doesn't think he is good enough for the Prem. He does everything so simply, is always available for a pass and reads the game so well. He is the sort of player people notice more when he's not there, as we glimpsed last season. You could argue that you want more goals from a central midfielder but what he brings for the team far outweighs this.

Twice.

00/01 - Fulham, Blackburn and Bolton.
10/11 - QPR, Norwich and Swansea.

QPR did it by the skin of their teeth, they lost that infamous "AGUEROOO" game on the last day of the season and only stayed up though virtue of Bolton not winning, who argue to this day that they only drew with Stoke because of dodgy refereeing going in Stoke's favour
