Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares (Last Night)

It is really badly edited. I watched the first one and decided not to bother with the others as they've obviously tailored it to their own agenda, i.e there is a clear villain who is made to look bad, there was also a complete lack of substance, you see all the bad parts and then the turnaround seems to happen in about 5 minutes. I watched last nights because I was channel flicking and whilst it was good entertainment you still got the feeling that they weren't telling the whole story

Wow this thread has made it to two pages and no-one has mentioned the most disturbing point about last nights show.
When the staff came back to look at the newly refurbished restaurant why was the operations manager with the rather striking moustache wearing a flying helmet?!

every single one is exactly the same...

1. Gordon arrives and meets everyone.
2. Gordon orders some food to try it out.
3. Gordon thinks all the food is shit. He might nearly be sick.
4. Gordon rows with the chef or owner or both.
5. Gordon examines the kitchen which is filthy with old food everywhere. He threatens to shut the kitchen down.
6. Everyone cleans the kitchen.
7. Whilst everyone is out the restaurant receives a complete make over.
8. People nearly cry at how nice the 'new' restaurant is.
9. Gordon introduces a new menu that put the chef in a sulk.
10. There is a big re-launch night that goes badly due to people not being able to cope with a busy restaurant and/or the new menu.
11. Somehow it all sort of works out and 'Chef Ramsay' departs as a hero.
excellent summary - particularly accurate on No. 10... :lolol:

I love it but Mrs G. thinks it's complete shit (like a lot of things then I suppose...)

brighton, actually
dont they do health inspections, in the USA?

i'm v surprised it wasnt closed for good- that 'nasty nigel' lookalike must surely have been a stooge- anywhere with crap staff / food in NYC doesnt go un-noticed..

and whats with one staff member face bein blurred? if doesnt want to sign release form (or perhaps has iffy ID papers.), they shouldnt be on screen!

now, where's that dam pizza. i've been waiting 29.30 minutes- they said it would be 1/2 hour..

And why do we ALWAYS get a cut scene of him taking his shirt off to get his chefs whites on ?

Oooh GORDON

*swoon*

Oi, stop whining, I bet you wouldn't be complaining if it was Nigella's Kitchen Nightmares, and she whipped her top off to slip into her whites, before grabbing some nice freshly baked baps out of the oven?

Equality on TV, that's all us girls are asking for :lolol: :p

My Humax has this on series record so I'll catch up with it over the next few days but I've been disappointed with this US variant of the show he did here as every single one is exactly the same...

3. Gordon thinks all the food is shit. He might nearly be sick.
4. Gordon rows with the chef or owner or both.

Spot on. Thread closed. :lolol:
