I went to watch a football game, not to be preached at. What was it about anyway? Looked like the gay pride colours, but someone said it was anti-racism. In which case, based on the colours of the cards in the east stand we should stop being nasty to people who are orange, yellow, purple, green or pink. A very clear message.

FFS Goldstone.
Everyone has been playing nicely until you came along.

I swear this is a parody account.

This. It was all a bit, meh for me. It is a worthy cause but not sure the forced participation is the way to go

Evening all. I was one of the people waving waving the Rainbow flags on the pitch before the match today. As Sky hardly showed any of it in their coverage, if anyone has any photos they were happy to share I'd appreciate it :) Thanks in advance!

To be fair mate I don't think it's got anything to do with playing nicely ,if people dont agree with the 'display.' They have the right to say so
Personally think it was a cringe fest but that's my opinion

By playing nicely I meant the posts from this morning with the Kylie jokes.

Before I opened this thread, I had a list in my head of posters who I thought would have posted in here to moan/complain/criticise.

Two down, one to go.

thought it was embarrassing and makes us a bit of a laughing stock if I’m honest

Please explain why it made us look a laughing stock. Its 2019 and there are no - not one - out gay or bi player in professional football. Rainbow week aims to raise awareness about that.

Only homophobic t0ssers would feel 'preached at' by the display today, imo.

What was the large door mat all about? Seemed a strange way to get a point across.

Here’s the view from the west stand:

Thought it looked great! Literally can't imagine thinking it was embarrassing, but some people are set on making life harder for themselves and others I suppose.
