On a train...

Very comfy it was too.

Until I got to Lewes then had to get a train to Brighton. Still beat my sister into Brighton, who got a bus all the way.

Of course, I'm sorry, but with all the excitement I forgot I saw you.

What time did you make it to Brighton?

Walked into the office at 9:45 (instead of getting the 7:33 and getting to work at 8:20).

Roll on tomorrow. Make sure I've got plenty of work I can do at home.

I'm off tomorrow, so if it goes tits up, it's not my fault ok.

I admit today I did break a train at Lewes though.

Southern and FCC both had major problems this morning.

To be honest VH when it came down to the TOC's today FCC were well ahead of Southern in organisation i'm afraid, The best way I could describe Southern's organisation would include the words piss up's & brewery's. :nono:

I dont think it will be nowhere near as bad tomorrow even if we get overnight snow again, If anything the railway infrastructure will be over prepared for it.

That's what I was hoping you'd say:)

I think I'm a bad omen for Brighton to London trains, I tried to go back to Brighton on 1st Nov(a jumper at Haywards Heath day) and then my parents tried to come up the weekend of the derailment later that month.

Hope i'm never on the same train as you then bigc. :lolol:

To be honest there were a few problems today that were non weather related, i.e. a few signalling failures and a person under a train at Crawley that would've happened whatever the weather.

If it snowed more often then we would learn to cope. A few flakes every 5 years isn't worth the effort or expense.

My train this morning was bang on time and the one home this evening was bang on time too.

Sounds like I was very lucky.
