Rail Disruption

Attended an incident the other night where a railworker slipped whilst seeing a goods train back into sidings and had both his legs severed at his knee caps. Obviously this caused some disruption to the travelling public, whilst the paramedics attended to his injuries and we jacked up the train so we could pull him free.

Ouch. Poor guy.

Local rumour says that the 'victim' is Dr. Barker, from our town medical practice.

He was apparently on call on Friday evening, logged off of the surgery's computer system at 11pm and has not been seen since.

How reliable this rumour is, I've no idea.

Is there any more news about this? We've been away so only just catching up on things.

That's my medical practise and I'm totally stunned. I've seen Dr Barker occasionally.

What a horrible experience for a trainee driver to have to go through, I hope it has'nt put him off driving trains for good.
