Best band of all time - and their more recent set at Reading blew me away also.

Can't wait to get to Glastonbury next week watching BBC 4 tonight.

I was at 1,2,3,4 and 6 put of the top10 and with the exception of Radiohead the others were average at best.

Surprisingly there are a fair few others I was at none of which were that great.

For the record I was only at Madonna to get brownie points from the missus.

Would love to see Pulp at Glastonbury this year. Considered going to Hyde Park to see them, but the sound system is bollocks.

Just out of interest, did you prefer the Chillis or Coldplay at V2003?

If it's the year I remember didn't the foo fighters play as well? I remember getting bored halfway through coldplay. The chillis I don't remember being blown away by I had gone off them by then. Now reading 94 I think it was the chillis headlined and were amazing but they went downhill after that.

We went in a group of ten and I was expecting to be blown away by the Chillis, but much to my surprise, I thought Coldplay were brilliant and the better headliner. Only two of us out of the ten felt the same way and we ended up marrying each other ;)

Was that the year the Foo Fighters played before Coldplay. I was more blown away by the Foos than coldplay. But I did see Coldplay three other times that year so maybe that had an effect.

The chilis had become boring by 2003. So much so that I can't even remember their performance very well. So I'd probably agree with you between the two.

Wasn't at this but one of the best gigs I've ever been to was when they played at South Park in their home town Oxford. 2001 I think it was. That included stuff from Kid A too which is also a masterpiece.

I was there too, fantastic day. Supergrass plus Beck in support.

Don't think there was a dry eye in the field when they played Creep to close the show

Despite being a ridiculously huge fan i've never seen this footage.

Truly awesome, as you would expect from one of the best bands ever. What's truly incredible to me, having been to Glastonbury on a couple of occasions previously, is how more or less note perfect they are.

Utterly awesome spectacle to watch and just the very mereset hint of the first bars of songs such as Creep, High and Dry, and Paranoid Android are enough to illicit a moist eye and remind me of all I felt and went through in my dark teenage years.

Correct.

As for radiohead I prefer them from Kid A onwards. And they'll never eclipse supporting the Frank n Walters at Brighton East Wing in 92(ish).

The Frank n Walters! Now THAT's a band! I'm going to dig out Funky Cold Medina right now
