radio 1 apart from SCR on a sat afternoon for obvious reasons, can't stand local radio

I must be a bit odd but every day I listen to bits of R2/3/4/5/ BBC SCR/ Southern FM/ Classic FM/BBC World Service and BBC 7. But I have never ever listened to R1 or Talksport. Am I missing something?

Despite being over 40 I still listen to R1 most of the time, can't stand R2, any station that plays Genesis and thinks it is the cutting edge of music needs to have its head examined...give me fresh and funky!!!

R2 has never claimed to be the cutting edge of music. They do have the widest variety of music of the BBC stations.
