Race for Life - Please read!!

Hi everyone

I've just had some very bad news from home, a really good friend of mine has been diagnosed with leukemia, and I am absolutely gutted about it.

I realise I should have done this anyway, but I have got my sizeable arse in gear, and have signed up to do the Race for Life again, my second year doing it. This will be on the 22nd June. I will be fundraising for it in the time coming up to this date!

I will also be doing this in memory of Trish who used to post on here and died on the 8/3/07 due to cancer, and Anastasia, Starry's child.

If any of the ladies of the board wish to join me in this, i will be majorly happy about it, and all who want to sponsor me will also be loved by me forever more. Last time we raised nearly £700, i'm aiming for at least 200, and seeing where we go from there.

BTW there seems to be an unfortunate 'bug' on the fundraising form, least if using AOL there is. If you click on 'I am donating my own money' then click Continue, it just keeps bringing up the same page over and over. Tho if you click on 'I am paying in other peoples donations' and click Continue then that works OK.

Once I know the wishes of the family I will let you all know, but laura's is referring to one of my best mate's daughter ( he is a STH and an avid fan) and she is very young.

She will have weeks of Chemo and then possibly a bone marrow operation in London.

Sorry to hear about your friend it's a big shock one of my friends was diagnosed with breast cancer last year. I'll prob see you there as I'm doing the Race for Life this June too inspired by my friend. Good Luck with the training.

I AM at the game tomorrow (so we better do well), so ill probably be in the sportsman beforehand, or im in the south stand during the game if anyone wants to give me cash in hand!
