No idea but original story from Blid.

Just running it through Google Translate, and it apparently says: "I wouldn't want it to be sold, too much was paid for it. Finding this most meaningful from the rumors. Brighton is getting a 2nd RA, so they have a need. Matondo is fast, strong at the start, but still too weak in the end."

Sounds right up our alley!

He's Welsh............Ni fyddwn am iddo gael ei werthu, talwyd gormod amdano. Dod o hyd i hyn yn fwyaf ystyrlon o'r sibrydion. Mae Brighton yn cael 2il RA, felly mae angen arnyn nhw. Mae Matondo yn gyflym, yn gryf ar y dechrau, ond yn dal yn rhy wan yn y diwedd.

If anyone is confused, RA is rechts außenstürmer, a right winger/midfielder.

Although this seems very much like an opinion on the internet rather than a BILD article.

Maybe this rumour has a lot in common with his name......

Nah seen loads of references to Bild but annoyingly couldn't find the original article.

Perhaps my refusal to switch to English Bild and complete lack of German rather hampered that decision making process.

We could sing his name to 'Hava Nagila'. I like that tune so I'm in. Tony would like it too.

I had a google as I speak German. The only link I found was a guy commenting on him on transfermarkt.

I won't translate the whole thing but in short: 'On one hand, he can gain match experience in England and in his home country. He can certainly find more self-confidence there and I think a change of air is also necessary. Our team (Schalke) is completely unstable and he is playing with us for relegation as a completely inexperienced RA who so far has only received sporadic trust. The coaches have not yet been able to fully trust him because of his performance. Above all, we play like a relegated players and are very low (on confidence).'

We (Schalke) currently need an right winger who is strong on the counter, but also very strong at dribbling, so must be strong in a duel. In other words, constant power, combined with working back into your own penalty area. (Doesn't everyone want this??)

And then there is the point that Rabbi has not really got an end product yet.
I don't really know Brighton's style of play, but the profile makes him fit for an experienced team.

Schalke are having a terrible season. This would be like picking up fringe player from Sheff Utd. He’s played 3 times for them this season.
