It might be worth noting that the bloke widely shown on TV waving a blood-stained machete and clearly one of the two main suspects, had what sounded (to me, as a Londoner by birth) like a London accent. It's quite possible that we will discover in due course that the perpetrators of this crime are British, born and bred. While lessons might need to be learned about how we might better tackle the violent ideology associated with some varieties of radical Islam, it's not at all clear that this atrocity has any implications at all for immigration policy, "kicking people out" or other knee-jerk EDL, Daily Mail type conclusions.
