For anyone who dosn't know, Malcolm (guy who went off first half) broke his arm.
Bloody KNEW it. Nobody EVER take first aid advice off Ali (even if he offers it for free)

No chance, we just couldn't click in the first half. Especially after turning you inside out to get a near post shot which your keeper just got to.
Cheers for the game boys, you easily deserved that half time lead. Decent game of football that. Well played.
I think man of the match has to be seagullric.
Cheers. Maybe we could make it a 3/6 monthly thing.
the ref in the 2nd half was bit dodgy
don't let a good first half blind you from the fact you could get near us in the 2nd half, the last goal showed that we played the better football.... 4 passes and the ball was in the back of the net,
yours was some scrapy pinball style goal.
No No, the only muggs are you boys. At the end of the day it was 4-1 to us..... thats right 4-1.
Doesn't matter how good you think you all were in the first half.

I think thats a bit of a misjudgement, because we were already 2 or 3-1 when you had to make those subs. However, I think that a scoreline of 4-1 flattered us a little and you boys played pretty well and can be pleased with yourselves if hardly any of you play for teams (which I find hard to believe). Your throw-ins are bloody SHIT though.
At least two of our goals were PROPER soft as well.
Might as well add my bit.
First half, thought we were pretty decent. Passing the ball round nicely, and working as a team. From what I saw of REMF, they weren't playing as well as they did against NSC. Whether that's due to how we were playing, or what. I don't know.
Didn't think the game was nasty. 11 aside between two teams that wanted to win. There's going to be fouls. Through out the whole game, I'd say there's possibly one that would have only got a yellow card.
Players on our team that stod out (not meaning the others weren't good, thought most were great) - Kurt, Johnnie & Rich.
In response to what some people have said -
Agreed. Good morning of football.
If that's Rich, as in CB Rich, I'd have to agree.
I'd be up for that.
Summed up by the hand ball given after our player decided he wanted a freekick rather than playing on after being fouled!
Think your find it was still 1-0 about 60-65 minutes in. And, I'm not going to have a moan at the keeper, because he was called up very late. But your first two goals, were incredibly soft. After being 1-0 up after 60-65 minutes and then losing two goals in that fashion, our heads dropped completely, and any team with the slightest ability would have been able to finish us off. Taking nothing away from Bretts last goal, which was nice.
Excuse me, but, perhaps there was a little pinballing going on about 15 seconds before the goal. But without blowing my own trumpet, my nice little ball straight through the middle of your defence, and Kurt finishing well, was a pretty good goal.
That's the spirit. Well done.
Shit, wish him a speedy recovery.
We made 3 subs (of which we only had) at half time, and then had to roll on and off as players picked up niggles.
Throw-ins were awful.
Glad you agree
Anyway - good luck against Palace! Will hopefully be there to cheer you on.
Well played FCTB.
And cheers for the lift Johnnie.
Oh, and, Albion, 3-1! Get in!
Everyone else has had their say, so I'll join in too.
Cheers young'uns, for the game. Was a proper workout for us. Can't believe you guys are not regular teamates, as some of your passing and moving was really good.
You had three stand-out players.
Kurt and Conboy, both excellent, but the shorter CB [blue shorts, blue socks] was your best player. Terrific stuff, young man. Find a way to grow 6 inches taller, and you'll be a PROPER centre half. Take a bow.
We were better in the second half, but not good enough. Plenty to work on. Sorry to hear about beefy's arm, too.

oops.ment to post in my dicker thread.
Well played the Top Boys.
Gave REMF a run for their money, certainly a few have made a claim to join up with the REMF squad in the future.
Get well soon Beefy/El Turi, horrible to see a team mate get injured.
Conboy, thanks for putting a team together for a game, you played well in the first half especially.
Definatley gave the REMF boys a wake up call that was needed and hopefully will make them focus on what is needed for the big night. Seagull Ric, MOM for me, well played lad. Best defender on the pitch for me.
3 soft goals for REMF, and one really well worked one. Top boys deservedly took the lead and 1-0 half time lead.
One more warm up game for REMF. Hopefully we can look more of a team for that, and build towards 8th May.
Now I need to find a centre forward with Beefy injured and out for the night, Ward unconfirmed and can onl make a cameo appearance, and Marlowe AWOL
Well played one and all, agree it should happen again
Cheers for the messages guys. I've just got of hospital as I had to have a metal plate put in my arm. It was a strange one as nothing really happened other than me landing awkwardly but I somehow managed to break the bone in my forearm.
Gutted I'll be missing the big game but I'll definitely be there cheering you on (with one arm anyway)!

Cheers lads. It's weird, I'd never broken anything before or even got a bad injury in the 15 years or so I've been playing footy then I break my arm from nothing more than landing awkwardly.
Also, many thanks to Ali for sorting me out at the time!
