It was our last home match of the season and led into the promotion match at Newcastle.

Beyond that, dunno. We played Manchester United in our last home match last year.

Both attendances will have been cosmetic.

Who, of a certain age will forget August 1979, when visitors Arsenal opened our top flight history, apparently a number of the 'clickers' malfunctioned on the turnstiles and they was only under 29,000 recorded in the Goldstone, when it was nearer 34,000:laugh:

As dear old Mr Bamber used to say, "cash is king"

Ah, but it may be the last home match we played in which the government changed to a different party between that and the next home game in the following season.

Actually, it may not be.

Was that the last home match of the season and we played them first home match next season
I thought we had this with happen with Man Utd already. Last home game of the first season in Prem with Gross’ winner and the goal line technology, then beating them 3-2 in first home game of the next season with Duffy, Murray & Gross

Answer: A few people were very close, but just skirted around the exact answer.

Man U at home next month the first home league game at our permanent home under Labour since that Blackburn Rovers game in April 1979 - 45 years 118 days (or 16,555 days).

Well that was more like a political quiz than a Albion related quiz. Were you really counting the days?

I wonder which way you voted🤔

That’s some fact thanks. Similar to being at cricket and a ripple of applause rings Out, only to discover its the 1400 wicket to fall on a Tuesday day 2 of a championship game before lunch.

Well, you could look at it that way. But only if you want to.

Which way I voted is absolutely nothing to do with you. So you can wonder until your head wobbles off its moorings, if you like.

This weekend there were 65 games played in the English and Scottish Leagues. Only one was goalless .

Have the Albion ever achieved this before ?

AI says "Yes, Brighton and Hove Albion have achieved goalless draws before." :ROFLMAO:
