[Help] "Quick Reply" option

I seem to have lost the "Quick Reply " option on NSC when I'm using my ipad - it has been replaced with "Reply to Thread". Can somebody offer a simple suggestion as to how I can get back to "Quick Reply". iphone and Laptop are fine the problem is just with the iPad Air.
