Charlotte Church matching her image of a dumb blonde perfectly.

'The issue of Trident renewal is a completely different issue than that of JC's refusal to push the button', not verbatim but the essence of. Just a celebrity idiot trying to reinvent herself.

The Labour position on our nuclear deterrent is looking totally undermined.

Completely, it makes no sense however the talk of whether it is a deterrent or not is interesting and debatable.

If Corbyn won't press the button it therefore makes no sense to pay for the weapons. And if you don't pay for them you'll sooner or later have no nuclear deterrent, therefore a vote for Labour is a vote for CND.

The alternative is for the Labour Party to force a policy on their leader he doesn't want.

Either way it makes a Labour victory looks very unlikely.

The example of Ukraine seems to suggest that it is...

Makes it very plain and simple, give up your nuclear arms and Russia invades you whilst the rest of the world offer zero help.

Yep. Look at Germany, Spain, Italy, Holland, Belgium, Canada...etc. All under Russian occupation. All lacking in any support or protection from anyone else.

Nine countries have nuclear weapons. Nine. Let's make it eight.

NATO provides protection for most of the countries you mention.

So according to Ms Church we should asdk the Syrian people who they want us to bomb. Would that be those under the rule of ISIS, or those under the rule of Assad? Very polarised answers I would imagine.

Alternatively we could blame climate change? Well done Charlotte
