Great point by the comedian about petrol prices.

Shame that the politicians aren't as articulate or even as well researched.

no, he made a silly sound bite from the newspaper, that completely ignores the fact that the oil product is about a third of the price of oil and that the oil is brought months in advance.

And they make sure everyone in the audience is left wing, don't they? Yes, of course they do. God, some people on this forum really are morons. Because a few people in the Question Time audience don't agree with you, it must be a socialist CONSPIRACY! It really is sad and pathetic.

when did I alude an opinion on the debate, that somebody didnt agree with?

but do carry on hurling your baseless insults around, i am not saying the audience of question time is a socialist conspiracy, nor am I a righty. i voted for Blair in 97 and 01. but the BBC has a very left leaning slant with many of the executives of our national broadcaster labour supportes, thats a fact and i don't think they (the BBC) are truly impartial. When I was at Baswick i saw first hand people who when asked said they supported Labour (which I also said at the time) saying you would be used in the audience and 2 that didnt saying they wouldnt.

Now now chaps!

Can we discuss Mr D's sausage ploughmans? If i rememember correctly, he was rather partial to our pork, apple and leek variety....locally made and wonderfully succulent, went perfectly with a pint of Old Rosie. Personally, and i'm being controversial here i know, but, i preferred them with a pint of Summer Lightning...superb.

They use a representative sample to reflect national voting habits. They were probably short of Labour supporters that week.
