...and who can forget summer holiday morning TV classics such as..

Why don't you?
Degrassi Junior High
The Red Hand Gang
Heidi

Plus Schools & Colleges
- Watch
- You & Me
- Words & Pictures!

and finally...
- The New Shmoo Show
- Battle of the Planets (G-Force)
- Dogtanian & the Three Muskehounds

Oh they SO don't make them like they used to!

Oh, but they do you know.
Having kids now means that I get to watch some absolute quality stuff on CBeebies and CBBC, there's also some good stuff on Disney XD, Boomerang and Cartoonito.
But with more channels, there is some total bobbins out there too.

I remember two show's that scared the shit out of me. One called the Changing on BBC 1
I think. And the other Called Children of the Stones on ITV filmed during the long hot summer of 1976 in Aylesbury, had a haunting medieval chanting throughout. I have it on DVD somewhere and still wouldn't watch it without the lights on.

Does anyone remember a programme called 'Striker' from the BBC in about 1976?

Was about a young lads footy team and mainly on the boy was the the striker and his lone parent dad.

Joe Gladwin was in it.

Indeed. Loved it. His Dad was played by the bloke who later married Ivy Tilsley in Corrie - Don, I think his name was.

It was on around the same time as 'Graham's Gang', 'Kizzy' and 'Lizzie Dripping'

Anyone remember 'Hey Look That's Me' on BBC South? Some cross-dressing weirdo ("Chrissy Wissy") trying to entice kids into a little caravan that he pulled along on the back of his bike. Worrying times...

Did the dad and son in Striker live in a caravan? I remember one programme where the local youth were rocking someone's caravan from side-to-side.

'Big John, Little John' anyone?
