all queen studio albums are £4.99 in HMV, just thought i'd let you know, seeing as they are usually very overpriced

Have never ventured into album territory with Queen thinking that G Hits I, II & III would suffice. Am I missing something? Any real stand out Queen albums worth scooping?

On a more general theme, I probably own more 'Greatest Hits' albums than 'actual albums' being of the logic that why should I waste money on albums when you can guarantee that 20%+ of many albums is going to be absolute gash, whereas at least on a Greatest Hits this % comes down to about 15 and under (unless it's McFly's 'A Retrospective of a Life in Pop - The Best of McFly' - due out in Woollies next week no doubt)

Queen II, News of the World, The Works & Innuendo are probably the best of the lot, covering 1976-ish to 1990.

Oops, just remembered that I do own Queen's 'A Kind of Magic' due to an unhealthy Highlander obsession, but that's it.

"The Works" is a gem IMHO, not one of the famous albums, the "Machines" track I think is sensational.
