Another pix for those interested.
Somewhere in the North Atlantic just completed her first fuel replenishment on the go from RFA Tidespring, on her own Tidespring is an enormous vessel so this picture shows the enormity of QE.
I was in Falmouth a few months back and Tidespring was in. She is indeed a very big ship about the same size as the invincible. QE is a monster of a ship.
Oh to be a WAFU in today’s Navy ......
Yep the roof rats on the QE will probably have the best job, especially when they conduct SRVL trials.
for real matelots deportivo, yes, for WAFU's, pfffft, midday is your sunrise
It isn't a boat. That's a big boat for one helicopter
****ing hell
Couple of pics of the QEII. I served on her in 82 as part of RN contingent operating the 2 flight decks, one fwd & one aft.
Hoping to get on HMS QE some time soon for a look about.

It isn't a boat.
Would absolutely love the opportunity to join you for that trip?, I’m certain our mutual shipmate AB (R) Stubbs would love a look too?
As far as I was always told, the only naval vessels which are referred to as boats are submarines, everything else is a ship.when does a boat become a ship ot whatever ? whats the etiquette ?

I know that there are people on here far more knowledgable in such matters than me though, so I stand ready to be corrected if I'm wrong.
