You'd have to assume they are going their seperate ways.

Harry won't want to be there. QPR can't afford for him to be there.

Surely something was put in his contract when he joined. SURELY.

ps - I'm probably completely wrong

on saturday he seemed to think he could build a team there - 12 players out of contract, so it may just be that they are getting shot of them

Maybe it's me, but he always seemed to give the impression he was too big for a club like QPR. And chuckling away to himself at full time at Reading this weekend.

He's a total nob. I'd be relieved if I was a QPR fan.

They'll follow in Portsmouth's footsteps.

Except they will get there far more quickly! Have there been any other teams who have still received Premiership parachute payments in League 2 ?

They must be getting rid. Why call a press conference to say that he is staying?
You maybe right, but it's possible they've talked to him and agreed he'll be there to lead the fight back to the prem, and it could be good for stability if they announce that. If he was going, they could just issue a statement saying he's gone.

Will the war chest be big enough for Harry in the Championship given how many highly paid players they already have?

I'm going for "out of the door"

i think qpr are going to go absolutely apeshit on transfers this summer as a massive gamble to get straight back up. Can see whoever is managing them getting a large amount of money to spend

good point although they'll have their parachute payments which are going up this year...

...and fairly reckless owners

As I say I'm not clear on the implications but do you not have to be able to fund wages, if not transfers, through receipts now? So although they can make big money signings how would they pay the players the massive wages that they would want to drop into the Championship?
