"QPR, hooligans and empty seats"

I fail to see what the fuss is about, for any 'big game' where we are offered 3 or 4000 tickets pretty much anybody who applies will get one.

The only really frustrating games of recent vintage where there was a problem were Reading (I managed to get one of the second batch, but the allocation was too small) and grimsby which was down to the old bill. I don't think anyone missed out on the Port vale, Portsmouth, QPR , Brentford and palarse games.

it really isn't too much trouble to stick an envelope in the post or drop one into the ticket office if you can get there. If you don't like making your mind up until the day before and miss out because other people have got there first, well tough. You should have got in earlier. That's just the way it is in football these days.

And for those who think hooligans don't cause any trouble for the 'ordinary fan' should read this thread and ask themselves why we have to have these elaborate ticketing arrangements in the first place.

Quite agree Row Z with your last point, which I too made. Blimey, what a row I started here, so only thought it fair I'd return to the scene of my crime. Interested in the sensible views, whatever 'side' they were on and at least it was a football related debate! Disappointed that the odd person like Lady B rolled out that chesnut about loyalty. If only they knew what I've done in my time for our club and how much money I've put in. Amongst my close Albion friends they'd laugh in your face for questioning if I'm a fan or not! As you get older though, move to other parts of the country etc Brighton and Hove Albion are not always your first priority. "It's only a game after all......."!!!!!
