What makes a good player?

They play their hearts out?
They play for the team?
They feel for the club?
They celebrate their successes...
...and forever regret their errors?
They connect to the fans?
[Helps if they can play a bit, too, of course]

About 100 months ago we were 16th in the 'third division', at crappy Withdean,
Now, we know where we are and we know how dreamlike the journey has been.

Seems to me that with our current dip in form there are a number of voices on NSC quick to criticise the performances, players, management etc.

In view of that, I'm just interested to hear your ideas about what attributes make a good fan?

The ones with the refillable water tanks are good, as the mist they spray out keeps moisture in the air.

Nothing is better than the good old fashioned fan which flicks open and you wave about to keep cool

A fan is a fanatic. Who loves their team irrationally and doesn't like losing. They are more likely to say what they think.
I think your definition of a good fan is a supporter. A friend to the club.

I like to keep it old school, I'd go for a bamboo frame, paper Geisha's fan. Takes a little more effort than flicking a switch but keeps my wrists fit and healthy. I should probably ditch the kimono and white face paint though, the Mrs thinks I look like a tit.

Who cares? Go and watch football, enjoy it, be happy if we win, annoyed if we lose. Drink some beer. Don't let it rule your life, it's not that important.
