A Q & A evening is being held at Arundel FC with both Alan Mullery and Paul Barber in the hot seat(s).

The event is taking place this Friday evening at 7:30pm at Mill Road, Arundel to raise much needed funds for the football club following severe flooding to the pitch and buildings earlier this year resulting in closure to the ground for several months and loss of much needed revenue.

Tickets can be obtained via email to arundelfc@btinternet.com and are priced at £12.50 and this includes a pie & chip supper. The event is kindly being sponsored by Piglet's Pantry, pie supplier to the Albion.

Please consider going along if you can as it is a very worthy cause and sure to be an interesting and entertaining evening.

Junior played for Arundel a few seasons back and they are a very well organised club, great promoting youth players but have major ground issues.

I would go, however, have something else to do that night but if you can please go and support them.

I read the NSC tweet about this as a sarcastic comment about trying to raise money for the albion.

I would go but public transport doesn't seem to be an option from Brighton ⚽
Is the 18:28 from Brighton to Arundel, via Ford arriving at 19:23, no longer for public use?

That's a real shame.
Who does use that train, now?

You are so clever!

From there to the venue? Bus service?
So public transport does seem to be an option from Brighton.
But public transport doesn't seem to be an option from Arundel to the ground.

It's a brisk 5 minute, comfortable 10 minute walk from the station.
Cross the main road outside the station and stay on that path right through to the castle, and the ground is on your right.
(on the bank of the river, hence the issue in the first place)
Or a 2 minute taxi ride from the rank outside the station.

Granted Arundel is a northern backwater all cobbled streets, flat caps and whippets.
But it is still accessible from Proper England (The Sussex coast).

Fair play. It looked further on Google maps. Now, I shall have no excuse.

Hope as many of you Albion fans can make it over to us at Arundel tonight for what should be a very entertaining evening with Messrs Mullery & Barber in the hot seat. You have a great opportunity to discuss the current Albion situation and the way forward on a one to one basis with Paul Barber in particular.
If not travelling over by car then then there are frequent trains which will probably drop down into Littlehampton or Ford station first of all. Our ground is literally a short walk from the station heading in to the town, cross the old stone bridge and turn right into Mill lane then enter the Castle car park on your right and our ground entrance is in the top Eastern end.
Hope to see you all later.

Yes it is deep enough but it is the River Arun the 2nd fastest flowing river in the country.
Of course if the tide is flowing the wrong way it will become a pain rowing!!
