Quick question as I thought I heard there was a restriction.

how many tickets can you put on the xchange before the club get all hissy about it.

i thought I read ( or may have dreamt it) it was 6 times.

i am up to 3 already and golf competition season has started early this season for some reason!

thanks

Not sure I’ve heard of a limit. I’m sure there was (possibly still is) a limited number of times in the season you can pay to upgrade a concession season ticket to a full price ticket for a individual match, but that’s something different.

Yep. Not even sure that exists anymore tbh as must be close to that myself. Ask no questions and all that is best way to go. No limit on the exchange that I know of @Publius Ovidius

Club used to consider you were a bad supprter if missed so many games. Now with sell out games it is the opposite . Everytime you miss a game club makes £10/15 Maybe club will be giving prizes. for those missing most games.

I don't think there is a limit

Bloke near us has been about 4 times this season, always seems to sell it on the exchange

Two seats in front of us are rarely used by the people who own them this season - possibly due to the lack of Saturday games. Always different people using them and they must be well beyond six resales for the season

This is the only attendance number restriction I can see in the T&C

17.5. The Club reserves the right to refuse to let you renew your Season Ticket (or cancel your auto-renewal), in the event the Season Ticket is used by the Season Ticket Holder for less than 25% of the Matches.

We’ve renewed our ST’s already and there’s still over 25% of home games to play!!

On a slightly separate note the following caught my attention in the T&C's for next season -

13.9. Season Ticket Holders will be able to share the Season Ticket/s for a fee (the “Ticket Sharing Fee”), and subject only to these Terms and Conditions:

(i) on a Match-by-Match basis. Each occasion of sharing will attract the following corresponding charges: -
For a Category A+ Match - £15.00 (Fifteen Pounds Sterling);
For a Category A Match - £12.00 (Twelve Pounds Sterling); -
For a Category B Match - £8.00 (Eight Pounds Sterling); -
For a Category C Match - £5.00 (Five Pound Sterling);

or

(ii) a non-refundable payment of £20 (Twenty Pounds Sterling) to facilitate sharing of the Season Ticket on multiple occasions for the duration of the Season and be granted access to the Ticket Sharing Platform. Season Ticket Holders must visit tickets.brightonandhovealbion.com to share a Season Ticket and pay the Ticket Sharing Fee.

So it would appear that the Club is quite happy for season ticket holders to sell their ticket on as long as they pay a sizeable charge to the Club (if I understand the first part correctly.

Silly old bat
The missing 6 matches a season thing was pre-covid wasn't it?
It was.
It's not a problem now with the ticket exchange.
If Sky keeps messing up our games, and we keep having ill health, it will be more than 6 games in a season. 2pm on Easter Sunday is ridiculous, as was 8pm on a Boxing Day.
Fans? Who cares about fans?

No reread it, that’s the fees for SHARING season tickets (using the club scheme, not selling them). Either £20 a season or on a pay as you go basis. It’s been around for a couple of seasons now.

Thank you. I have been using the £20 a season scheme for several seasons now and just paying the upgrade between OAP and Adult fee each time I share. I thought the Club were going to add a one off fee based on match category on top of the upgrade. I must admit I was not aware that the Club had been operating the Ticket Sharing Fee before.

Think the sliding scale of fees for per match sharing came in at the start of this season. Presumably most people that might share will pay the £20 lump sum.

They expect STH to attend 25% of home league games a season

There is no limit on the exchange as far as I’m am aware, also it sets out that the exchange sold ticket doesn’t count towards the 25% attendance of the season ticket holder

Junior has attended 50% and isn’t able to attend evening games on a school night so that’s Chelsea and City probably missed as well.

When we both haven’t gone we’ve sold on the exchange and when he’s stayed at home I’ve often upgraded to an adult so don’t see the issue

He will scrape through the % worse case (I’ve done the math) but had they said anything I’d say it’s unreasonable considering how many games were rearranged late for mid week ko’s

Just trying to get my head round this.. i) By saying only subject only to these T&Cs I assume if a ticket is shared the receiver does not have to pay and become a member or am I misunderstanding. this
