I ment my post as you referred to not knowing what the point was.
I am not saying Bloom is Archer.
However, what are TB motives? The Albion is running blind. TB has put his Ray Charles shades on and is ignoring the fact that he's got it wrong with Hyppia, Barber and Burke. We are losing money, we are going down, Barber is cutting costs, cutting service and transport and putting up prices, attendances are down, more will desert us next year, revenues are down and pissing our money on crap loans is not helping.
If Bloom does not change things then where do we go from here? This leads into Barber, have you read his programme notes? Basically us fans know nothing. Bellotti was not far away from that. All is not right. Bloom needs to clear it out and clear it up, leaving it to carry on, will leave us where??
Btw fans liked the both of them at the start, they are mirroring eachother quite well.
What hysterical tripe. What do you think TB's motives are? He has sunk £200m into the club, interest free. If he sold the club tomorrow, he would get a fraction of that back. Do you think he is happy to write of a loss like that? We are losing money but at a lower rate than before Barber came on board. Recruitment wise, we missed out on some good targets eg Adam Clayton and before that, Lewis Grabban. The good players we lost all went on to better things in the Premier league so how could we compete with that without increasing our losses. As for replacements, who was available that could replace Ulloa (how many NCSers had identified Ulloa as a good striker long before we signed him?), or Upson, Bridcutt, Buckley etc. It's easy to say we should have got replacements in but who are the players that you think fitted the bill?
We are not heading blindly into oblivion, even if we got relegated. Bigger clubs than us have come back from that. Look at Southampton, or even the reigning Premier champions who, in the grand scheme of things were not that long ago in the 3rd tier.
How many other multi millionnaires who are also fans of the club are around that could take over. Probably none. So the next chairman of our club should TB get pissed off with dumb conspiracy theories could end up being some foreign billionnaire who just sees us a vehicle for his other businesses, or maybe wants us to change the club colours or name. Maybe he'll vote for overseas games and then who'll be moaning about the cost of park and ride?
I suspect even as these threads are being read, Barber and Bloom are probably working on what to do. Hopefully they will get rid of Hyypia but that is only half the job because they need to know who is available and of those, who is interested in coming here.
