Does anyone still listen to Fat Boy Slim?
I thought Big Beat died years ago

Is that why the tickets for his concert this week are costing the earth if you can get one on e bay or wherever. I dont like it because of my age etc but
many do.

Yes but he's DJing, i can't imagine there's that many who sit at home and listen to his latest joint

Fatboy Slim was just about entertaining about 5 years ago. All downhill since Better Living Through Chemistry with the possible exception of Gangster Trippin. Praise You is self indugent bollocks.

And so on and so on

Exactly, his stuff's dated already, you might as well suggest that the players all get curly perms and turn up for games wearing purple flares and tank-tops.

And I didn't know that it wasn't actually his! Was it originally called Stand up for Detroit? That makes the suggestion even worse, we'd be better off with the Terry Garoghan version of 'Bright Eyes'

I have followed the Albion for over 30 years and Good Old Sussex By The Sea has always been our tune to walk out on the pitch to.

However these days I think it sounds totally dated, and a bit rubbish.

I think Fatboy Slims brilliant Put Your Hands Up for Brighton should definately replace it.

Does anyone else?

You've just given me a very good idea for a CD for my long drive this afternoon, if I can find a copy (mine has gone AWOL).

If we ever adopt Chelsea bleeding Dagger, I will run on the pitch and rip my season ticket up in Micky Adams' face*

If we've got to have some generic rabble rousers at Withdean then "Right Here Right Now" and "Tom Hark" should be high on the list. At least they have Brighton connections.

*not really

What was that amazing song they used to play at the Goldstone which seemed like an instrumental UB40 track

The version of GOSBTS that they played at the Millenium Stadium was amazing. I wonder where that came from. It's really majestic and more intimidating than the normal version, and when it came on there was one of the most 'hairs on the back of your neck stand up and shivers down your spine' moments ever!

I actually rather like the tinny version we use though, it's got a real charm about it and I think it would be hilarious to hear it in Falmer!
