It's the state of things in britian today. These dickheads are nothing more than petty thugs who thought nothing of bullying some woman by herself and then a bloke who obviously didn't want a fight. There's loads of them about on a friday night. I'm sure they didn't set out to murder him but the moron obviously didn't know how much damage a full kick to the head does. Lock 'em up and throw away the key.

On a lighter note, one of them looks like gary dicker

You know we should not be scared of these thugs, but this country is in a real shit state of affairs when someone steals your property, punches your wife or gf in the face, then boots you in the head when it was them that stole your items in the first place.

If I see a group of young people myself, I will always move over to the other side of the road. If you stay on the same side of the road something will be said, because what they are looking for is a reaction, and that's how it starts. You just don't know what will happen to you these days.

It all comes down to discipline I'm afraid, and knowing what is right and what is wrong. So another job for this goverment, what are they going to do about scum like this.

That's horrible, poor family :(

Like the article said it's amazing how these incidents turn from anti social behaviour to murders. I've been in a few fights from no fault of my own (got mugged then they decided to punch me anyway, group of lads crossed the road to deliberately bump into my girlfriend and giver her grief) on occassion and you just have to thank your lucky stars that nothing worse happened to you apart from a few cuts and bruises.

And here's some more. Pikey murder trial from delightful East Kent.

'This was family against family' murder jury told

A FAMILY feud led to a father-of-five being mown down and killed by a brother, sister-in-law and two nephews, a court heard.

Jack Treeby, 43, from Rainham, died after he was crushed to death by a Range Rover in Quarry Road, Maidstone, two days after Christmas last year.

Maidstone Crown Court heard that his alleged attackers were Bill Treeby, 50, his wife Charity, 51, and their two sons, Billy, 29, and 23-year-old George, all of Queen Street, Paddock Wood.

A jury of eight women and four men heard that they were armed with a 12-bore single-barrelled shotgun and were making threats in the minutes leading up to the attack.

Jack Treeby suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured skull, after the Range Rover drove over him.
"There was not much that wasn't done to the rest of his body," said prosecutor Jonathan Higgs at the start of the trial.

Also left seriously injured with a gunshot wound to his leg was another brother, Gary Treeby. He was said to have been shot "as near to point blank range as you would want to be", and was also hit repeatedly on the head with an object.

Jack's son Jack Teeby Jun, claims he suffered minor injuries when the Range Rover also tried to run him over just before 7pm on December 27.

"This was family against family," added Mr Higgs. "This was not driver error. This was not trying to frighten people. This was trying to kill them."

The jury was told they will hear substantial witness accounts of the attack, as well as mobile phone evidence, and view extensive CCTV footage.

Bill Treeby, Charity Treeby, Billy Treeby and George Treeby deny murdering Jack Treeby, attempting to murder Gary Treeby and Jack Treeby Jun, causing grievous bodily harm with intent to Gary Treeby and attempting to inflict grievous bodily harm on Jack Treeby Jun.

The trial continues.
40-second gap in CCTV coverage
THE court heard Bill, Jack and Gary Treeby were three of 12 children born to George and Lena Treeby.
Following the death of their mother in 2007, Gary, the youngest son, inherited her home, Broadview Farm, in Lidsing, near Gillingham.

The prosecutor said this may have been the cause of some ill-feeling among the siblings and "a possible influence" on the events of December 27.

There were also other disputes between Bill Treeby and Gary Treeby, the jury was told.
On Christmas Eve last year, Gary Treeby and Billy Treeby had to be separated during a confrontation at The Harrow, Lidsing.

They argued over an anonymous tip-off in relation to a wrongful benefit claim before Billy Treeby left just before 8pm.
However, the court heard there were then a number of mobile phone calls between the "arguing players", with Gary Treeby calling Bill Treeby and several between Gary and Billy Treeby.

The prosecutor explained that the attackers - referred to as the "away" team - were aware of cameras in the area, and in the build-up tried unsuccessfully to lure those at a house in Quarry Road - the "home" team - away.

However, coverage was lost for 40 seconds as the CCTV operator changed tapes. When the footage started again, the Range Rover could be seen going backwards and forwards outside the house.

"It is during the course of this [the gap] that Jack Treeby was run over and crushed to death," explained Mr Higgs.

Interesting! Who in your mind is responsible for teaching discipline and right from wrong?

That must be the understatement of the year. The youngest of 12 inherits the farm and this may have caused ill feeling!!!!

Gee thanks. Nice to know that the Daily Mail hysteria about young people hasn't gotten thought to people :glare:

Ok we have exposure to news 24/7, but did the same sort of thing happen about 20 years ago.

It's been happening since time began, we just have 'better' methods of reporting these crimes now.

Reactionary twaddle.

To be fair, I never leave my house in case I get hit by a bus, attacked by a 'big cat', or someone tells me what they're having for their lunch.

Sorry to go all ' Daily Mail ' on this subject, but I really really really would have these bastards executed. I cannot see any way that they will ever serve a useful purpose to humanity in the future. Kill them and throw them into a sesspit with all the other turds :tantrum:

A horrid story. It is gutting enough being on your own and being intimidated by thugs but when your partner is with you the combination of desire to protect them and the fear of them and you being attacked is very frightening. Unless you know without doubt you can take them on and win as galling as it is the best thing you can do is swallow the humiliation and walk away if you can. You will feel impotent for a few days but in the long run you are better off.

These crimes have always been prevalent. Hardly a surprise when the culture of binge drinking has been cultured for the past 100 years or so.

If we are serious about cutting out mindless drunken thugs attacking poor people like this, then there needs to be a real attempt at changing the culture of society. It can be done, there's no racist chanting at English stadiums these days and smoking is considered anti social these days too. Prime examples of cultural change for the good.
