I was sat near this guy 3 weeks ago at Hove Dogs and he called every single Dog race from start to finish and how it would play out perfectly. He also shouted out 4 horse racing tips that all won. I did a £ 5 treble on 3 that got back £ 54 and if I had done the 4 timer it would have been £ 300. He knows his stuff. He is right bookies are open now for the machines and the mug punters that is why they stay open in the winter until 10 pm when the racing finishes at 4 pm with the machines and computer racing. They do not like people betting on real events especially if they some have some knowledge. They are all about the FOBT's.

If he's so good at gambling why does he hang out with that group of trampy looking goons on London Road? He should e in Monte ****ing Carlo surely.

Yes it was bigger than normal on the account I used, I normally do £5-10 bets but a friend of mine who followed an online tipster has had all but one of his betting accounts 'limited'. His paddy power account got limited to £2 maximum bet. Basically if you beat the books, they will stop you no matter what dirty tricks they use.

I hate going into bookmakers anyway, it's a joke with all the electronic ways of doing it now it just encourages people to get addicted it's the same online mind, I recently placed a bet with 'Betway' won £60 overall tried to withdraw and there's a 48HR pending withdrawal time, how do books get away with that?

A few years ago I got a free £20 bet on Super casino the tv thing. I eventually with a bit of luck turned into £880 would only let me withdraw some pittance amount each week. I think they hope you will gamble it all away again which I didn't.

Yep, recognise him. The bloke next to him with grey hair and blue shirt looks familiar too. I suspect there's more to this story than meets the eye.

I've been banned from a bookmakers only once over the years. I was on a roll of taking a small independent in Portsmouth to the cleaners some years ago. After a 500/1 ew shot came second in the 1987 Derby (Terrimon trained by Clive Brittain), A full house yankee at Goodwood, two hefty fixed odds accumulators in the first two weeks of the season plus Tony Bin winning the Arc that same year at 20/1, I was persona non grata in that establishment.

Re the 500/1 shot: One of Clive Brittains lads of the time was an Albion fan.

Anyway, I'm in no danger whatsoever of being banned from my local Ladbrokes, being as I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've minced back in there to collect on one of my accas.

But William Hill WROTE to this bloke and banned him ? Whats all that about then. No bookies has ever had my address. Would he have signed up to one of those loyalty cards or something ? Ladbrokes are always trying to push one of them on me when I stick my weekly couple of quid on, but I just can't be arsed with it.
