We aren't being outclassed in every game.
We are drawing games we should have won and losing games we should have drawn.
We have lost only one game by more than one goal.
We would probably have got a draw tonight if the pressure of the winless run hadn't made us chase the win.
We have an inexperienced management team who will make mistakes.
We aren't going to go up this year, but nobody tipped us to.

Instead of suggesting that we sack everyone at the club and starting conspiracy theories that the chairman is deliberately trying to fail, perhaps it would be more useful to show some backbone whilst the management and team work hard to improve things which will turn the margins in our favour. Signings like Elliott Bennett should help provide the type of good chances that our strikers put away today and have done at their previous clubs.

This season was always going to be about what happens after January's FFP results are published. If things don't improve after that, then we can all run around around with our hair on fire.

Cue someone saying that we will be twelve points adrift in 24th by then, despite the fact that, even with the winless run, we haven't been in the relegation zone yet.

Many teams go down without looking pants the difference is they make the wrong decisions and mistakes at key times.

That's us this season and = poor.

Lots of statements about what we "should have done" or might "probably" have done. The reality is that we have only won one game at home all season and only one away. I do not pay each month to support the mistakes of an "inexperienced management team". Bringing in Elliott Bennett for a month (including an international break) might help for a couple of games but his manager has already said it won't be permanent. If this season is really all about FFP results in January why are we bothering to play at all? Oh, and by the way, I haven't got any hair to burn!

Good post. Agreed. Feeling more positive after today, despite the defeat.

You may be right about key decisions, but who is to say what those decisions are?

I am merely asking for a proportionate and appropriate reaction to our current situation.

We have 13 points from 15 games. No wins since August. We finished 6th last year. We are tactically inept and the manager seems to wander round reacting to the whole situation with a careless shrug. We haven't even looked like winning a game since Cardiff. Sacking the manager would be more than appropriate in my opinion.

We aren't being outclassed in every game. So what's stopping us winning?

We are drawing games we should have won and losing games we should have drawn. We still haven't won since August, it is now November.

We have lost only one game by more than one goal. But we've won an amazing TWO games out of 15.

We would probably have got a draw tonight if the pressure of the winless run hadn't made us chase the win. So what happens in our upcoming game(s) when we go behind? Does the pressure disappear now?

We have an inexperienced management team who will make mistakes It's not as simple as that is it? We look fecking clueless most of the time and that is down to coaching. Have you not noticed how shit we are these days? So much hoofing it's embarrassing.

We aren't going to go up this year, but nobody tipped us to. Nobody tipped us to be one place above the drop zone in November either.

Whatever it is they're working hard at, it isn't working is it? I hope this lot don't manage to coach the skills out of Eliott Bennett. As for showing some backbone-don't you think that should be directed at the playing staff and not the supporters who haven't really turned on the players in a big way yet?

This season was always going to be about what happens after January's FFP results are published. FFP results won't help us if we're still deep in the relegation mix.

Cue someone saying that we will be twelve points adrift in 24th by then, despite the fact that, even with the winless run, we haven't been in the relegation zone yet.
This time next week and we will be unless those in charge of the team go back to basics instead of stubbornly sticking to tactics that simply do not work.

In my 35 years of supporting the Albion I can tell you if we persist with Hypia and his tactics that would only work if we had signed the entire Dutch national squad then we will be relegated. Team morale looks shot, to many loan players in the side I mean whats the point of signing Bennet for a month?

IMO and its only my opinion is that one man and its not TB has far to much say in our football club. I understand the need for cost cutting in certain areas but one things for sure the first team manager position is certainly not one of them.

Having been there today I'm feeling surprisingly upbeat despite the defeat. We deserved at least a point, if we carry on playing with the same passion we will be ok.

How did we lose by chasing the win? Bournemouth were all over us before the winner, it wasn't a counter attack?

We played ok today, we maybe could have got a draw, but we didn't. We played well against Cardiff, we should have won that one. We should have beaten Blackpool, but we didn't and they're the worst shite in the league. We're the only team that has ever lost at Birmingham. We should have lost at home to Rotherham. The last time we went this many games without a win we were relegated from the Championship. We are pretty much where we deserve to be based on our performances this season, but at least one of the teams below us has shown more signs of starting to pick up points than we have.

Hyypia's an inexperienced manager who has made the rookie error of keeping the exact same tactics for every minute of every game this season despite it palpably not working. Maybe change that if you don't want to get binned.

What worries me is Sami the man. He was sacked from Leverkusen after 1 win in 13 league games, now he has 2 in 15 with us. That's 3 league wins out of 28 in 10 months. And he's Finnish, not the world's bubbliest race, so how can he inspire? This flush is busted.

I agree with this. I'm not impressed with Sami's team policy and I guess questions will have to be answered soon.

However while we should remain positive and balanced, the 'bedetters' who worried all summer had a good point. The signings came too late and did not replace the quality we lost. Just saying stay positive and trust everything the board and manager does sounds a bit thin at the moment.
