Another vote for the Elephant & Castle on London Road in Brighton. My first wage packets bought me a couple of racy pints of mild on a Friday evening

Also, The Red Lion on Queens Park Road. Ben Truman top and being snookered by Brendan the landlord on the pool table for hours

Also, for boy racers of old, the Friday night disco at the Devils Dyke pub. The one actually right up top, not the one at the top of the Upper Drive...
