If you mean The Great Eastern, it would have been where Gala bingo is now, as by the bus stop, there is a 'sculpture' of a train, which I should imagine marks the site of the pub ???

Wasn't the Kemp Town station there assume pub was outside

In a pile of football shirts
Three Tuns, Steyning, had my first ever beer in a pub there, around 1979.

Although it never stopped being a pub.....

The Thieves' Kitchen used to be a magnificent pub, before it got renovated in the late 80s.

On the ocean wave
The Pewter Pot - Lewes.
The Cleopatra (later Cleo's) - Lewes.
Rainbow (Back Bar) - Lewes.
The Sea House - Brighton.
The Sudeley Arms - Brighton (Kemptown).
Henry's - Brighton
The Sussex - Haywards Heath. (At least I think it went years ago).

I can picture loads of others, but struggling to remember the names.

Sussex Pad. The Golden Martlets (Hellingly). The Hare and Hounds ( between Ringmer and Laughton)

Sussex Pad is still there, isn't it?

Stand to be corrected, thought it was closed.

Is closed lancing college bought it

There you go, I hadn't realised that. Wally became ill in 2012 and had to close it, Lancing College have bought it, don't think it's been reopened yet. Last time I was there was for a lunch in 2012, was still as expected.
