I've been busy this morning trying to drop flyers into the pubs in Hanover until about 1.30 today. And guess what, every single fucker is CLOSED.

Piers, its not in Brighton. Or Hove. And its not a function room, but Buxted Scout Hut is available for hire for functions. Youve to supply your own food and stingo though.

the leckton has a good funtion room with its own bar my mate had his 18th there and i enjoyed it

you used to be able to hire the upstairs of the albert but I think it's turned into a gig venue now.

I had my 18th up there, it was supposed to be a DJ's set but we sort of took it over. I had invited about 50 people down the pub on a busy friday with no plan B, so fate smiled on me!

Was better that I didn't hire it, you had to put down a £100 deposit to ensure nothing was broken.

I ended up smashing a table worth of drinks, but as I didn't book the place, .

worked out perfectly...still indebted to that pub for getting away with that

OK, am sure there will be some amusing replies etc, but any ideas of pubs in Brighton and Hove with rooms to book.

Some of the normal haunts have been tried, so just wondering if anyone has reasonable suggestions.
