In fairness it could have been anywhere from Duddleswell to wivlesfield, hence saying around Maresfield.

Has anybody mentioned Fathers Day?

Is it only the chain pubs that take chance customers, like Harvester, Ember Inn Hungry Horse etc.

Peacock at Piltdown is good, but you will be very lucky to walk in any pub today and get a table.
